Les rambles
In the Ramblas you can see the Plaza de Catalunya which is one of the most emblematic squares in Barcelona. An icon in itself although it is not exactly the most beautiful in Barcelona. Surrounded by some of the most emblematic shopping centers in Barcelona, such as the FNAC or El Corte Inglés. You can also take a stroll along the rambla or you can go to the shops along the ramblas. Right in front of the Casa Bruno Quadros and on the Rambla de Barcelona we find a work by Joan Miró in the form of a circular mosaic. It seems that the work of art represents something like the symbol of totality and perfection. Opposite the Miró Mosaic, on the other side of Bruno Quadros House, is the great temple of the lyric of Barcelona. The Gran Teatre del Liceu. The Liceu is to Barcelona what the Fenice of Venice or the Scala of Milan. In theater it was reborn from its ashes after the great fire that it suffered in 1994 and that devastated the theater completely. The great tenors and sopranos of the last 200 years have passed through the theater and have praised its acoustics, which seems to be one of the best in the world. After, approximately, a kilometer and a half of journey, we arrived at the end of the walk, where the last of the great monuments that there is to see in the Ramblas of Barcelona is located. The Monument to Columbus is one of the unmissable dates for tourists, who if they wish can climb to its top, 57 meters high, from where you can enjoy an excellent perspective of Barcelona and, specifically, Las Ramblas.
